The Jehovah’s Witness religion is quite different from other denominations. They deny the deity of Christ, claiming He was created, contrary to John 1:1-3. They believe when you die you go into oblivion—nothingness—contrary to Luke 16:19-31. They teach that the earth will not be destroyed, but that God will revitalize it for eternal habitation by the righteous, contrary to 2 Peter 3:10-12. They deny the existence of hell, in direct opposition to Jesus’ teaching in Matthew 10:28.
Another false belief, and quite odd, is their view on blood. In Jehovah’s Witness doctrine, blood is essentially sacred and base this on Leviticus 17:10-14. Thus, they refuse blood transfusions. The passage is taken out of context. It is teaching that the idolatrous practice of eating and drinking blood is sinful. It has nothing to do with medical procedures, but fact never gets in the way of false doctrine.
