#17 Walking On Water

Podcast

Peter wrote that he and others saw the majesty of Jesus revealed on the holy mountain (2 Peter 1:16-18). This event is recorded in Matthew, Mark, and Luke to provide evidence that Jesus is the divine Son of God.

The miracles recorded in the Bible are designed to create faith (John 20:30, 31). Those performed by Jesus show us His divinity and power. They confirm His word and drive out doubt.

The account of Jesus walking on water is one of many miraculous events that ought to instill us with confidence and strengthen our conviction that He is, indeed, the divine Son of God. In this episode we will go through the account of Jesus walking on water and observe a few lessons including: (1) He sees us when we are in trouble; (2) We must focus on Christ, not chaos; (3) We don’t need a boast to survive the storm.
