#32 Words From The Cross (4): My God, My God, Why Have Your Forsaken Me?

Podcast

Jesus time on the cross is an example of complete submission to the will of the Father. He experienced a painful and humiliating death. Just hours before the Lord prayed earnestly that the cup would pass from Him, but it was not to be. He was obedient to the Father and, for it, was crowned as Lord of lords and King of kings.

Similarly, God requires our submission to His will. It can be painful and humiliating at times. We may pray for deliverance, but not realize it. Even so, we must continue to trust in God and be mindful of the reward that awaits for our obedience.
